Born in Zaria, Nigeria. My father is Nigerian and mother Spanish. Lived in Kano, Lagos, UK and US over the course of my life.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a passion for fitness. My dad always involved us in physical activities or sports as a child, including swimming, skating, dancing, etc. As I grew older, I would regularly go to the gym and take classes of various kinds, enjoying the group fitness activities, including Spinning. When I moved to California in 2006/2007 I got even more involved in Spinning and got certified as a trainer there.
In March 2012, I made the decision to focus on teaching spinning classes and my crew of spinners has grown since then. My classes are small and personal. Set in studio locations in and around Lagos, with energetic music and positive vibes all around. We are really a family in my spinning classes.
I now clearly realise how fulfilling running my fitness classes is for me. I’d like to build on it. My aspirations for the future include continuing to learn and grow as an individual and as a fitness coach, while continuing work towards owning a chain of fitness studios. I have created a portfolio of spin class formats that will keep participants engaged, while also helping them focus on achieving their individual fitness goals. My vision is to create a dynamic fitness experience for participants, nourishing and improving not only their bodies but also their minds and souls.
